PHASE 1 UPDATE

Dear CenterPoint Church Family,

Today marks day 7 of the Phase 1 reopening process and I thank God that prayers are being answered because it feels like were making some progress and moving in a forward direction after far too many days of being physically distanced from one another.
I thank God that we have been able to remain connected through technology like our Sunday morning worship services online, our Zoom Bible Studies and small group gatherings, but I have to admit I miss seeing you all, worshiping with you all, shaking your hand or giving you a hug and grabbing a cup of coffee together in the MUDroom.

So yes, today feels like progress (even if just a little)… We are one day closer to gathering together once again… We are one week closer to Phase 2, which means that we are inching even closer to our time of relaunching…
However, that time is not now… Not yet… As we continue to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit… We continue to listen for the voice of God to lead guide and direct this leadership team on what relaunching looks like for this faith community… We continue to monitor the changes that are occurring with this first phase and will continue to draw upon the increasing number of resources, best practices and information from our federal, state and local governments, as well as recommendations from our Bishop and denominational leaders.

For now, and until we move into these next phases, we will continue to live stream our worship services on Sunday mornings at 10:07 AM on our Facebook page and conduct our Bible studies and small group ministries as we have been utilizing Zoom technology. All of the information for any of these spiritual connections can be obtained by visiting our website, downloading our Centerpoint Church App, visiting our Facebook page, YouTube channel or checking us out on twitter or Instagram.
I continue to thank God for all of you and for all the ways in which you all continue to LOVE, GROW, SERVE, and SHARE during such challenging times… But we have seen in so many ways, the many ways in which God has used these challenging times to draw people unto Himself… My prayer is that we would do just that as it says in James 4:8… Continue to draw near to God… Knowing that as we do… God continues to draw near to us… And draws us nearer and nearer to one another…

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me, Pastor Jay or any member of our Leadership Team if there is anything that we can do to help you during this time…

Blessings,
Pastor Wayne
